Starbucks steams up menu with a familiar choice and new option
It is a bold drink for a bold coffee connoisseur. A competitor to its popular PSL, perhaps? Additionally, it comes with cocoa, cinnamon powder, whipped cream and the exclusive Starbucks Chile Mocha combination.

The hot coffee drink is topped with cayenne, ancho chile, paprika, cinnamon, sea salt and a little sugar.
The Chile Mocha is made hot, but can be just as delicious ordered as a Frappaccino.
The Chile Mocha will be rolled out on Tuesday, September 6th, but members of the company’s Rewards program will be able to try it as of Saturday, September 3rd.
Although they have not officially launched, they’re promoting the drink on the app and through their official PSL Twitter account where customers can get a PSL fan pass. The drink was created to emphasize the spice. “It has a sweet touch to it, with an approachable amount of heat”, said Michelle Sundquist, senior product developer, in a release. “We chose to take that idea in a new direction with chocolate and a bit of heat”.
