Start Of Diwali Celebration

All in all, Deepavali or Diwali is celebrated to commemorate the victory of good over evil and enlightenment of oneself. The Diwali Night will be held in Clinton State School Hall this Saturday 14th November 2015 from 06:00 PM.
Diwali is celebrated across India as the day that signifies the triumph of good over evil and it also marks the beginning of holiday for the Indian community.
There is yet another account that the celebration is to honour Goddess Lakshmi, who is Vishnu’s consort, symbolising wealth and prosperity.

Diwali is a huge deal in the United Kingdom too, where lighting festivals are attended by more than just Hindus. Besides Hindu community members, Muslims and Christians also participated in the event.
