Start unconditional talks with all Kashmir stakeholders: Sitaram Yechury
Yechury, who is part of the all-party delegation presently in Srinagar to chalk out strategies to restore normalcy in the region, told ANI there is no solution to the Kashmir issue without talking about politics.

It is notable that the opposition leaders of the Parliament from all-party delegation had approached Hurriyat after failed initiative of talks with CM Mufti. “It is up to them whether they want to meet the delegation”, CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury said.
“What I learnt from some members of the all-party delegation, who went to meet the separatist leaders, was certainly neither “Kashmiriyat” nor “insaniyat” (humane)”, the home minister said. “I am fully confident that the situation will improve which people also want”, he said.
“We are willing to talk. But he didn’t open the door”, Yechury said.
Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Singh said Jammu and Kashmir will always remain an integral part of India.
The State Government delegation which was headed by the Chief Minister also included Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Minister for R&B, A R Veeri and Minister for Social Welfare, Sajad Gani Lone.
Mufti had recently said that only 5 percent of Kashmiris are creating conflict in the Valley.
They alleged, “In politics, India has deployed deceit, double talk, themselves and through their quislings, continuously for the past 70 years”. He further said that at least 1000 odd PAVA shells have already been provided to the security forces in J&K.
PDP general secretary Sartaj Madni put a fearless face to speak to media after leading his party delegation. Ahead of the meeting to be led by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, she wrote to the jailed leaders for taking part in the dialogue.
Singh is leading the 26-member delegation on a two-day visit that the separatists have dismissed as a futile exercise.
It also took stock of those injured in the violent protests since the killing of Hizbul militant Burhan Wani on July 8.
The separatist leaders had earlier in a statement said the delegation from Delhi has not “spelled out its mandate” and had no clear agenda of its engagement in the Valley, where normal life has been disrupted for almost two months now.
“It is important the centre and the state government identify the stakeholders”, Azad said.
An all-party delegation is visiting the Kashmir Valley on Sunday.
The delegation will meet the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Shri N.N. Vohra later in the evening today.
While interacting with the delegation, Ms Mehbooba Mufti said that Kashmir is a common issue of national interest and should not be viewed as a political issue.

Pellet guns are, however, unlikely to be banned completely but will be used in “rarest of rare cases”, they said. Separatists in a joint effort made a point of staying away, while the delegation of parliamentarians met representatives on the first day of the visit.
