Apple has unveiled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which feature new cameras and a new design.

The redesigned earbuds – with cord – will be included with the new iPhones. And they won’t be able to plug in headphones if there’s a power cord in the Lightning port. “For many customers, it’ll be the best camera they’ve ever owned”, said Philip W. Schiller, Senior Vice President (Worldwide Marketing) at Apple. Making the move, he said, took “courage to move on”. Also, removing the AirPods (even one) from your ears simply pauses the music.
They’re powered by an Apple-designed processor and special software that Schiller said will let users easily sync the wireless buds to their iPhone, Apple Watch and other Apple devices.
Other smartphone makers are also having trouble dazzling consumers with new advances. The company says it has designed the speaker to eject water after workouts.
Apple announced its newest iPhones, the 7 and 7 plus, which are water and dust resistant.
It’s also seen a drop in demand for the Apple Watch since its introduction previous year. While the company sold almost 92 million iPhones in the first six months of this year, that’s about 15 percent fewer than the same period last year.
Industry analysts say the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which Apple introduced last fall, didn’t offer many compelling new features over the previous year’s models. Specifically, the Apple Watch Series 2 will be out in two sizes, the 38mm and 42mm, priced at $369.
As for camera advances, both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have 12-megapixel cameras that include optical image stabilization and six-element lenses created to enable brighter, more detailed photos and videos. Not surprisingly, Twitter went all out to mock Apple’s new “innovation” and looks like, not everyone is happy with it.
This experience has been made possible due to a new Apple wireless chip called W1, which handles the audio and wireless connections. Some consumers and analysts are considering waiting until 2017. At a price point of Rs 60,000, Apple iPhone will compete with Samsung Galaxy S&, S7 Edge, LG G5, HTC 10 and other flagsship smartphones.
The company also introduced a new generation of smartwatches that will include Global Positioning System tracking and enough water resistance to swim with, part of its effort to boost sales in its newest product line.
The latest software update, available on Tuesday, will add more intelligence to Apple services like Maps, Photos, the iPhone keyboard and Siri, the voice-activated digital assistant.
Interestingly, the new Apple Watch Series 2 retains the same casing for the lower and middle tier variants.

The Apple Watch has been the only major new product released since CEO Tim Cook succeeded company founder Steve Jobs as CEO five years ago, and sales of the device so far have been lukewarm.
