State Department: Nearly 15000 new Clinton emails gleaned in FBI probe
Comey continued, “It is highly likely their search terms missed some work-related e-mails, and that we later found them, for example, in the mailboxes of other officials or in the slack space of a server”.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled (PDF) on Friday that Judicial Watch may serve written interrogatories on Clinton, but the group is not entitled to take her deposition, report Bloomberg Politics, the National Law Journal (sub. req.) and the New York Times. “We have reached out thru official channels”, she wrote to Band.
These are all emails that Clinton sent or received during her tenure as secretary of state, and they were not among the 55,000 documents turned over by her lawyers a year ago. As in, my team of lawyers found all of the emails that were even tangentially tied to my day job as the nation’s top diplomat and turned them over to the State Department.
So, the Federal Bureau of Investigation found about 15,000 documents/emails sent or received by Clinton that were not part of the 30,000 emails her own search turned up.
If Hillary Clinton is elected, the former president said the foundation would accept contributions only from US citizens, permanent residents and USA -based independent foundations, whose names would continue to be disclosed on a quarterly basis. The personal emails were deleted permanently off the server.
State Department spokesman Matt Toner said Monday there was nothing improper or unusual about the messages with Clinton Foundation staff.
“Is it possible because of what her lawyers did that they were erasing things that were incriminating, maybe involving items that you were not particularly investigating but these have now been destroyed forever?” Comey, while referring to Clinton and those she corresponded with as “extremely careless” in their handling of classified information, also said that there was no evidence that emails were “intentionally deleted in an effort to hide them”.
Hillary Clinton will visit Louisiana to meet with victims of floods that ravaged part of the state when she is confident she won’t distract from relief efforts, she said in a statement Monday.
“They’re Clinton emails that haven’t been looked at yet by the American people, by the State Department, so they’re going to have to evaluate them under the Freedom of Information Act and see what’s releasable”.
Given the large volume of messages, Olson said it was “extremely ambitious” for the agency to complete its review and begin releasing the first batches of emails to Judicial Watch by October 14.
In another email, a political consultant presses Abedin for a meeting between Clinton and an energy company executive, noting that the executive had sought the consultant’s business “It should go without saying.because of our relationship with the Clinton’s [sic]”.

Two days later, Abedin followed up with Band to let him know that a meeting with the prince had been set. Clearly, when the Foundation used that access, Abedin (at least at times) raised their request or concern with Clinton.
