“In a press conference this week, FBI Director James Comey made clear that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her staff were “extremely careless” and clearly mishandled highly-classified information that could have compromised our national security”, said Rounds.

Congressman Frank Lucas, R-OK, said based on the FBI’s findings, he is very disappointed Comey did not recommend that the Justice Department hold Clinton accountable for her actions.
State Department spokesperson John Kirby, said the department will aim to be as expeditious as possible. Kirby can say that such a thing is possible all he wants but, in reality, the Clinton camp probably won’t be losing any sleep about the outcome of this investigation.

But he also said “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring charges in the case, and Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Wednesday that no charges will “be brought against any individuals within the scope of the investigation”.
Outlining his agency’s findings at a news conference, Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey concluded that “no charges are appropriate” despite “extremely careless” behaviour by Mrs Clinton and her staff. However, the probe was put on pause in April as to not interfere with the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s email use.
One question they were investigating was whether any of the emails were classified at the time of transmission.
Kirby declined to provide specifics about what information would be analyzed nor a timeframe for completing the probe.

Among the other members of Clinton’s team most likely to be examined include Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan, and Huma Abedin, according to the AP.
