“When you hear Republican candidates saying some of the things they say, I want you to take them seriously because, if elected, they may try to do what they are saying”, she said.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks during campaign at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in Tulsa, Okla., Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.
“I’ll ask him about the economy, what we should do with dealing with a lot of hard people in the world”, Clinton said on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in a segment taped Thursday. “They throw out all these approaches, but I have been in the situation room in the White House, and I know what it is going to take, and I will keep America safe”.
Clinton was campaigning in Oklahoma, a safe Republican state in general elections, and one of several “Super Tuesday” states holding Democratic primary contests March 1.
Clinton discussed her economic plan to supporters gathered at an International Association of Sheet Metal Workers union hall. “And so, how they look in the eyes of those people and deny them health care for that reason, I just don’t know”. In the early primary voting state of Iowa, Clinton leads with 53.3 percent, but she continue to trail behind Sanders in New Hampshire, where Sanders leads 47.3 percent to 43.3 percent. Bernie Sanders, Clinton sought to underscore her experience, her toughness and her willingness to defend the party’s values, as well as her own. She also said she wants a “manufacturing renaissance tax credit” to return jobs from overseas. “She will be a awful president – and I think I’ll win”. It was the shooting of Brown, 18, by a white Ferguson police office in August 2014 that sparked the Ferguson unrest and a long national debate about race and police tactics. “I will fight against the gun lobby to try to get a common sense gun safety measures”.

A small number of protesters from the St. Louis-based Organization for Black Struggle briefly chanted at the event, but Clinton never paused in her speech.
