Sanders thanked supporters and said he understood their disappointment that he did not win the nomination. “I’m just going to move forward and put this behind us and go forward and unite the party”, says Escambia County delegate Dianne Krumel. U.S. Democratic Senator Bill Nelson, of Florida, says he believes it’s possible the country’s President Vladimir Putin is behind the leak. “I don’t feel any words coming from the committee were words coming from her”.
Yet many die-hard backers of Sanders they weren’t ready to coalesce around Clinton’s presidential bid despite his pleas.
Henson and Albert were working on their first campaign and weren’t ready Monday to announce a switch to Clinton. The email dump provided by Wikileaks also highlighted DNC staffers mocking Bernie Sanders jewish faith. We’ve got this wrapped up.
“They’re very open to trying new things”, Jenna Golden, Twitter’s director of political advertising, said of Trump’s campaign.
The message was met with chaos though, as people in support and opposed to Wasserman Schultz crowded up to the stage, holding signs, chanting, and ignoring calls to quiet down to allow the program to continue. Eleanor Sobel, D-Hollywood.
At 74, Bernie Sanders may have had his last hurrah in presidential politics. So she’s done her job. On Monday morning, Wasserman Schultz spoke to a large room of Florida delegates and was repeatedly booed and interrupted while attempting to speak. At a rally for Sanders delegates in Philadelphia, the crowd roared when Sanders brought up Wasserman Schultz’s departure.
