State Police Search Landfill for Missing Couple from Easton

Investigators said they continue to “conduct searches, gather evidence, and follow leads to determine the whereabouts of the Navins”. The couple, who moved to Easton, have been missing since August . 4, after their vehicle was found off of exit 42 in Westport.

Police sources say Kyle Navin is a person of interest in the couple’s disappearance, and that just days after Easton police questioned Kyle Navin about his parents, he packed up his auto and took off.

Jeanette Navin is a longtime employee of Weston Public Schools.

Their youngest son, Kyle Navin, had not been seen by his neighbor in a week’s time, according to The Connecticut Post.

In addition, police are now also looking for that pair’s 27-year-old son. Neighbors say they have not seen Kyle Navin in over a week.

“Kyle stated that he has a broken back and is unable to work right now”, policesaid. Other relatives have said they don’t believe the couple’s finances factored into their disappearance.

Asked if the son was now missing, along with his parents, Grant replied, “I have no information on his whereabouts”.

About a week before the Navins vanished, a judge denied Jeffrey Navin’s motion to reopen a case appealing more than .2 million in debt on a 0,000 Guilford home.

Detectives are searching a landfill in Putnam as part of the investigation into the disappearance of an Easton couple last seen in early August, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

The couple lived in Weston since 1994, but sold their home in June, and have since been living in a rental home in Easton. All calls will remain confidential. He also did not return an email seeking comment.
