State wants to review FBI’s notes on Clinton before Congress
On Monday, two leading House Republicans sent a letter to a Justice Department attorney detailing a perjury case against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

During an Oversight hearing that followed FBI Director James Comey’s decision not to indict the former secretary of State, Comey said the bureau found three emails marked classified on her server, but also said it was possible she didn’t realize they were classified.
As a result, Republicans are now calling on the Justice Department to launch a probe to determine whether Clinton lied during her testimony a year ago before the House Benghazi Committee. He said she was not “sophisticated” in the handling of classified information, and may not have recognized the symbol in her emails designating classified materials.
As is common practice with FBI interviews of witnesses and investigative targets alike, a full transcript of the Democratic presidential nominee’s FBI interview does not exist and the FBI did not record the interview, Comey explained in his testimony in July.
“The history of the partisan Benghazi investigation made it clear that any information that can be leaked by the majority to the prejudice of Secretary Clinton, will be leaked”, Schiff said.
More than 2/3rds of Utahns say Hillary Clinton should be charged with a crime for her use of a private email server while Secretary of State.
Some Democrats believe GOP lawmakers want the documents to try and use them to derail Clinton’s White House bid – a concern her campaign shared Tuesday.
U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) would soon submit to U.S. Congress interview notes from its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email setup and copies of classified emails handled via her private email account, local media reported. The State Department then said that some of those classification marking were the result of human error and didn’t need to be on them.
A spokeswoman for the House of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee said in an email that staff for the panel were reviewing the information classified as “secret”.
Earlier this month, Mrs. Clinton said she “may have short-circuited” her recent answers to reporters’ questions about the email issue.
Clinton’s claim that her lawyers looked at each email before deleting more than 30,000 that were deemed personal. But members of Congress will have access to notes taken during the interview.
