Status of Bills’ Ragland uncertain after left knee injury
With Shaq Lawson and Manny Lawson already on the shelf, the Bills can’t afford another injury to their front seven.

Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan struck a less optimistic tone Saturday about a left knee injury to rookie linebacker Reggie Ragland, backing off his belief that Ragland avoided ligament damage when he was hurt in Friday’s practice. Ryan mentioned the scary aspect of this injury is that Ragland suffered it without contact, which is always concerning. “Ragland then began hopping off to the side immediately on his right foot and promptly sat down on the field”.
Ragland injured the knee chasing down Reggie Bush during practice.
After being examined by trainers, Ragland walked to the locker room and did not return to practice.
Starting center Eric Wood was the first to run over to Ragland when he was down.
Looks like we won’t get a concrete diagnosis until early in the week.
We will update you when the team gives more information about the extent of his injury. “He wasn’t hit, none of that stuff”. “But sometimes those can be the worse ones”, he said, via ESPN. “We’ve just got to keep our fingers crossed and hope he’s fine”.

The head coach also said that at this point they do not believe it to be a torn ACL.
