If you have a Steam account, you’ve probably done it at least once: bought a game you either instantly or later regret buying. If you don’t, you’ll have to manually remove the files from outside of Steam.

Gamers with significant others may want to consider either changing their passwords or not angering their better half if they know your Steam password, as there appears to be no restriction on how many games you can permanently remove at once.

It’s also worth noting that you can only delete some games-for instance, third-party bundles redeemed via keys-by removing the entire package they’re a part of from your library. Punch it in there, and click on the game when it comes up.

Steam still allows users to stash their unwanted games in a hidden folder, though games that are hidden are still available to play.

Check the “hide this game in my library” option and click ok afterwards. You didn’t need to have it installed, but every one of your games would always be displayed while scrolling through your full library.
