Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger: Cleared to practice

Blake was a mess in Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks, when he did neither.

The Steelers’ 39-30 defeat to the Seahawks hit their play-off hopes hard, but Roethlisberger says there is every reason for them to feel optimistic going forward. Between those shortfalls and the fake field goal misadventure, the Steelers left a lot of points on the table.

The Seahawks improved to 6-5 on the season and moved past the Atlanta Falcons for the sixth seed in the NFC based on current tiebreakers. “We will do what is appropriate at the end of the week, or whenever that decision-making time is”. “We’re a little late to the party by losing this one. That means going on a run”.

During the 2015-16 National Football League season, the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation is distributing grants to K-9 units of police and fire departments in the cities and surrounding communities of each regular season away game for the Steelers, who played Sunday in Seattle. The union, however, would like to know why not, especially if the investigation showed that the protocol breakdown in that case was the fault of the Rams’ medical staff.

He missed a month with a sprained left foot and came on in relief of backup Landry Jones on November 15 against Cleveland after Jones left with a left ankle injury. Test results showed it today. After all, it was the first time Seattle won a game in which the opponent scored 25 or more points since Wilson became the team’s quarterback. Neither the Steelers defense nor flu-like symptoms could stop Wilson on his 27th birthday. Tomlin said the team will give reserve defensive backs Brandon Boykin and Doran Grant extended looks in practice to help a secondary that allowed five touchdown passes to Seattle’s Russell Wilson.

-The Steelers were able to put Seattle in some third-and-long situations where the defense should have an advantage. But those three areas will be key to Indianapolis’ ability to leave Heinz Field with a win Sunday night.

“We can try”, Leibman said with a laugh. With only one more loss than New England and the Patriots losing pass catchers weekly, Cincinnati can possibly get into the number one seed spot and keep home field advantage for the playoffs.

Not even MVP candidates Tom Brady and Carson Palmer were as good against the Steelers as Wilson. Roethlisberger was on the ground for a few seconds after the play. Roethlisberger was not sacked in last year’s meeting, which allowed him considerable time to find open receivers downfield.

After getting the ball at the 20-yard line, the Seattle offense was stalling. Roethlisberger drove the Steelers inside the Hawks red zone but couldn’t punch it in. Because they have a poor conference record and would lose the head-to-head tiebreaker to the Chiefs it’s going to be an uphill climb to make it back to the playoffs.
