STEELERS: Defense steps up in win
On Wednesday, the National Football League fined Brown $11,576 Wednesday for jumping onto and then straddling the goalpost after he ran back a 71-yard punt return touchdown in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 44-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday night. “(The NFL) didn’t like it too much”.

Brown had three touchdowns in the game, and his last on special teams was the exclamation point on a 45-10 victory.
After crossing the goal line, Brown jogged toward the goalpost and jumped onto the post’s padding with his arms and legs outstretched, slamming his midsection into the pad.
Brown did a full front flip into the end zone earlier this season and did not draw a flag or a fine.
Jacoby Jones, who fumbled the opening kickoff Sunday against Indianapolis and almost did the same on a punt, has been demoted on the Steelers’ depth chart.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was not pleased that his team’s best playmaker subjected himself to injury. “The angle I approached, I couldn’t really see her. I don’t think she got hurt”.

“I’m sure we’ll rehash it and rehash it 1,000 times in the next six days and suck all the life out of it”, Tomlin said on Tuesday.
