Donald was charged with one count each of assault and harassment in the incident that allegedly occurred at 5:30pm on January 4, inside their Upper East Side apartment.

Libby suffered a bruised arm with a raised bump, police said.

Fagen’s rep has not commented on the allegations, notes Entertainment Weekly.

Fagen launched the band in 1972 with guitarist Walter Becker. The order of protection was issued as Fagen was released without bail. The group went on to sell more than 40 million albums, with such hit singles as “Reelin’ In the Years”, “Rikki Don’t Lose that Number” and “Deacon Blues”. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Palmer, for example, sang on Dirty Work, while McDonald played the keyboards and sang backing vocals on songs from Aja like Peg. Prosecutors say Fagen “grabbed her arms and rapidly extend[ed] his arms in the direction of said frame, causing her to fall onto the frame”. Libby Titus is now seeking to end her marriage to the Steely Dan frontman, which dates back to 1993.
