Steph Curry to bang Panthers’ ‘Keep Pounding’ drum before Super Bowl
With the Super Bowl in California, the Panthers might as well be playing in his backyard, so he’s going to be on hand to watch from field level. Wearing his white jersey, Curry was sacked up after Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart rushed in for a touchdown in the second quarter.

With Curry, a Charlotte native, on percussion in the Panthers’ opener, the team beat Houston, 24-17.
He’s buddies with Cam Newton (they can compare MVP trophies now) and even wore Panthers blue shoes in Saturday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
“Congratulations on all the success so far but the job isn’t done”, Curry said in a Bleacher Report video. Having played in National Basketball Association championships, it’s an unforgettable experience and something that you want to be able to enjoy and embrace.
Sunday will be Stephen Curry’s second turn as the Keep Pounding drummer this season.
“The words come from former Panthers linebacker and coach Sam Mills Jr., who gave a motivational speech to the Panthers and urged the team to “keep pounding” before a 2004 Wild Card game against the Cowboys”.

Stephen Curry isn’t really in the business of losing these days. “I’m a fighter. I kept pounding”.
