Stephen Curry scored 28 points in the pivotal third quarter.

The Hornets (10-8) shot just 37.2 percent from the field, including Kemba Walker’s woeful two of 16.

The Golden State Warriors point guard dropped 40 points on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on a night when his father, Dell, was being honored by the home team. According to CrossMap, Lin wrote an email to himself titled “Jeremy’s Prayer Request 13”, in which he reflected on his experiences on the court this season.

“I told them, when (forward) Rashard Lewis came to Orlando as a free agent, his big thing was that he didn’t want to play (power forward)”, said Clifford, who was an assistant coach with the Magic.

Lin’s Christian faith plays a huge role in his life.

Toronto 96, at Atlanta 86: Kyle Lowry scored 22 of his season-high 31 points in the fourth quarter, DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and the Raptors rallied from 17 down in the third quarter.

The Warriors shot 52.3 percent from the field for the game and were 16 of 34 from 3-point range. Since Curry left the school, Davidson has made three trips to the NCAA tournament in the last five seasons (Davidson had 6 in the previous 35 years), as Curry’s impressive performance in the 2008 NCAA tournament allowed the University to expand its recruitment for basketball. Despite being defending champions they came into the season with a chip on their shoulder as some critics said they got lucky with injuries (both their own and their opponents) and that their championship was a fluke.

Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers implied the Warriors were lucky they didn’t have to face his team or the Spurs in the playoffs last season. During the third quarter, Curry took charge with 28 points. Bryant played almost 32 minutes and scored 20 points on 7-of-26 shooting.

“It is surprising to me because the league has been around a very long time and nobody has done what we are doing”.

Playing against the Warriors is a tricky prospect.

Throughout a game, Curry is constantly moving without the ball and the best way for his team get him the ball is setting good screens so he can get open looks.
