Stephen Curry’s daughter Riley makes big entrance at MVP presser

While Curry might’ve dulled the discussion in regards to what the MVP should truly stand for, the battle for second place- which James lost- might have added back to the argument.

Experience helps, even when it comes to accepting MVP awards. They bought Curry jerseys Tuesday.

Riley’s become an internet sensation recently, an adorable presence at most of her dad’s press conferences.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, right, shoots over Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum, left, during the first half of Game 4 of an NBA basketball second-round playoff series Monday, May 9, 2016, in Portland, Ore.

Curry started for the first time since Game 4 of the first round at Houston, the day he slipped on a wet spot and sprained his knee. University of San Francisco sports marketing professor Michael Goldman says the Curry brand is about to explode. He is doing everything in this series at an incredible rate, and the argument can be made that that he is more valuable to the Warriors than Curry.

After being showered with adulation for winning his second straight MVP award, Stephen Curry provided the flurry of decisive blows to finish off the Portland Trail Blazers. They led for large portions of Game 5 and kept it close through the fourth quarter by absorbing the Warriors’ best blows.

Curry finally returned and hit big shots in both Game 4 and Game 5, as the Warriors finally punched their ticket for a chance to compete for a spot in the NBA Finals. So, what’s next? “Let’s go win a championship”, Curry said.

This is just a partial knock on James, who has been a Superman and an unstoppable physical force throughout his career. “Nothing is guaranteed in this league – a wet spot or a twist of an ankle can derail any momentum that you’ve built up, so you want to appreciate every single game, every single moment that I have”.

Andre Iguodala and Curry countered with 3-pointers for the Warriors, but McCollum completed a personal 11-point flurry with another trey and a 2-point jumper, keeping Portland’s hopes alive at 118-114 with 2:24 to go. TNT will be televising the game beginning at 10:30 p.m. EST/9:30 p.m. CST.
