Steve Finn ruled out of Pakistan series
Chris Jordan will replace the bowler in the Test and one-day squads for the matches against Pakistan.

This is a major blow for England given Finn’s resurgence of late in an England shirt.
The 26-year-old, who missed the ongoing first Test match against Pakistan, has now been ruled out of the remainder of the series and will be soon heading home.
The 26-year-old was vying with fellow paceman Mark Wood for the third fast-bowling position in the first Test behind veteran pair James Anderson and Stuart Broad, however this injury, described by England Cricket as needing “a period of off-loading”, has stymied his initial attempts to return to the side full time.
Sussex seamer Chris Jordan has been called up and will arrive in the United Arab Emirates during the first Test.
The last of Jordan’s eight Test caps came during April’s tour of the Caribbean, where his six catches matched his tally of wickets taken in the three-match series.
Jordan, who somewhat curiously was due to part of the England Performance Programme batting/spin camp in Dubai next month, was part of the Test squad for the series against New Zealand earlier this year before sustaining a side injury during the one-day series which ruled him out of contention for the Ashes.
He returned with eight wickets in the Edgbaston victory over Australia, and was then in the team which regained the urn at Trent Bridge. Eighteen months ago Finn was deemed “unselectable” by England after he suffered a crisis of confidence – and technique – during the 2013/14 Ashes tour.
