When Ariadna Gutiérrez first came on stage, she and Harvey shared a long and emotional embrace.

In the first interview, Harvey was all praises for Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and called her “an absolute class act”.
Gutierrez noted that she had “already moved on” from the Miss Universe mix-up, and denied rumors that she was planning on suing the talk show host after admitting that she had been contacted by lawyers after the pageant.
Taping a recent appearance on Harvey’s United States talk show, which aired on Tuesday, the Latina revealed she had been approached by several legal eagles after the nightmare, but decided it wasn’t classy to file a suit against the funnyman.
“I thought you were going to make a joke, like Oprah”, she giggled. “You wanted me to win”, Gutierrez told Harvey, who looked relieved with the answer.
Harvey assured Gutierrez that mis-reading the cards wasn’t a publicity stunt, as some have theorized.
The American comedian, host of last year’s beauty pageant, sat down with Miss Columbia for his two-part special show Miss Universe: The Truth, following his epic Miss Universe blunder.
Wurtzbach also spoke about what her life has been like since being crowned, and noted that she has no ill feelings towards Harvey because of his mix-up. No matter how tough it was for me, I can’t imagine how it was for these two women. But you coming here, you young lady have given me, you’ve given me a great moment.
“This has caused a lot of sleepless nights for me”, Harvey says in the promo clip above.
Whereas the second part featured a visit from Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, the woman he incorrectly named as the victor of the pageant.
She also said that she is staying right now in Miami, Florida with her relatives. After Harvey admitted his mistake, Gutierrez had to relinquish the crown live on worldwide television. I really am. I’m beyond sorry for what happened that night and that it was you.
“You have to learn how to ready cards”, she playfully retorted to Harvey when he asked her about the moment. I really am. I’m beyond sorry for what happened that night and that it was you.

“Don’t beat yourself up anymore. Everyone is Miss Universe!”. “Let’s move forward and let’s be happy”, Wurtzbach told Harvey, who heaved a sigh of relief.
