Steve Harvey to Clear the Air with Miss Universe and Miss Colombia
While Guiterrez is (maybe) joking in that clip, another features the two getting visibly emotional: “You’re the one person that I really wanted to talk to, because of a mistake I made, I cast you into a spotlight or place that I never meant to, that I would not want to happen to anybody”, Harvey said.

“No matter how tough it was for me, I can’t imagine how it was for these two women”, Harvey said. You went out there and you took the hit.’ And my kids, man. People don’t understand the damage of social media…[I’ve had] death threats against my family, I can’t let my kids go anywhere.
Last month, Harvey mistakenly crowned Ariadna Gutiérrez from Colombia as the victor during the Miss Universe 2015 Pageant before realizing that the real victor was Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines and correcting himself on live television. The runner up replied back and asked if that was what Harvey “was waiting for”.
Gutierrez will appear in the second-part of the two-day TV special entitled “Miss Universe: The Truth”.
According to Radar Online, Harvey shared his primary concern is on Miss Colombia. “As bad as I felt, oh my God, Miss Colombia, my heart bled for her and I haven’t been able to talk to her since”. “There’s so much I want to say, but I’m truly sorry, I wish we all could have gotten it right”. “Absolute class act”, added Harvey.
In a preview clip with Wurtzbach, the Miss Universe victor told Harvey not to “beat [himself] up for this anymore” and to “just be happy”.

While Harvey has not yet uploaded clips of his personal interview with Miss Colombia, gossip news site TMZ has reported that he “sobbed and sobbed” as he begged for forgiveness.
