Steve Holland says the blame for Jose Mourinho’s departure should be shared
It comes after Today sports presenter Garry Richardson said on his radio show in November, when Chelsea already suffered six league defeats, that a senior Chelsea player was not fighting for Mourinho’s cause.

Hiddink has returned to Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis until the end of the season following Jose Mourinho’s shock sacking last week.
Questioned about the January transfer window, Hiddink said: “Let’s go into the next few games and we will see”. “I said why I was here and I want everyone to look in the mirror and be critical”.
“Mathematically it is possible”, a relaxed Hiddink, who proved highly popular in 2009 when he took over from sacked Brazilian Luis Felipe Scolari, told reporters at a news conference at the club’s training base.
“Regarding the last job with Holland of course they had a very good result in the last World Cup in Brazil [finishing third] and then you get all kinds of expectation and a little bit of a hangover”, he said. They give the Chelsea brand a big image, worldwide.
Hiddink was formerly announced as the Premier League champions’ new boss shortly before their match against Sunderland on Saturday and he subsequently watched from the Stamford Bridge stands as his new players threw off the shackles to win 3-1 thanks to goals from Branislav Ivanovic, Pedro and Oscar.
The club highlighted how fans were “singing his name following our final home game” of the 2008-09 season but it was Mourinho’s name they were still chanting on Saturday.
Hiddink called Drogba a Chelsea legend, but as for luring him back, the Dutchman said “people have to deal with contracts and situations”.
A number of the players in the starting line-up were booed by the Bridge faithful and many times during the first period – even after the goals – the name of Mourinho rang around the ground. We cannot ignore what has happened in the recent past but I have asked them to be professionals and see if they can give themselves the best of the team.
“Points could have been gained in those games, but they weren’t, and now we are finding ourselves way behind in terms of how many points we have got from how many games”.

Fabregas was forced to deny any part in alleged dressing room revolts earlier this season, but Chelsea’s poor form still cost Mourinho his job.
