Steve Ross on Laremy Tunsil: ‘It’s going to be a great choice’
They introduced their new recruit at their Florida practice facility on Friday, where Tunsil was an hour late for a press conference because of what the team called an allergic reaction.

“I think it’s all part of what makes the draft so exciting”, Goodell said during an appearance on Mike & Mike.
‘I don’t know nothing about that, ‘ he said. Tunsil was drafted by the Dolphins Thursday in the first round.
Tunsil’s camp immediately said his Twitter had been hacked and the video was from a while back. “There was enough information out there, including the episode with the agent in Atlanta, that led you to believe that there was a situation here where you’ve got a player who is not as dedicated perhaps to the game or is stable in terms of his off-field life as you’d like”.
Jets envision Deone Bucannon role for Darron Lee 4/29/16 How does first-round pick Darron Lee fit the Jets’ defense?
Everyone was still talking about Tunsil and his social media problems on Friday, but none of that seemed to matter at Dolphins headquarters.
The Jets didn’t land Tunsil, and they obviously didn’t want to give up too many of their draft assets to get him.
The Dolphins expect Tunsil to be ready for rookie minicamp next week. It turns out that the video had been shopped around but that no one was willing to pay for it. Instead, the video was uploaded to Laremy Tunsil’s own Twitter account just moments before the draft was about to start. When he learned last night that Mr. Tunsil’s accounts had been hacked, he was surprised that the posted content even existed.
By the time the draft was over, Tunsil had to face reporters and he ultimately came clean.
Around the time the Dolphins selected him, a series of images were posted to Tunsil’s Instagram account, showing an alleged text-message exchange in which Tunsil asked an Ole Miss coach for help paying his rent and his mother’s electric bill.
When asked if that meant he had taken money from a coach, Tunsil said, “I’d have to say yeah”.
Tunsil fell to No. 13 to the Miami Dolphins, and the Ravens ended up selecting Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley.
But, after trading with the Tennessee Titans, the Los Angeles Rams used first pick to take quarterback Jared Goff. “Like I said, that’s not completely the NFL’s fault”.
“Right now he’s with our medical staff and hopefully it’s just a quick, short-term thing”, Tannenbaum said. Tunsil was selected 13th overall in the National Football League draft Thursday night.

Tunsil’s career at Ole Miss included suspension, domestic violence, and investigations after his stepfather, Lindsey Miller, made allegations of NCAA violations.
