Steven Tyler films cameo on ‘Nashville’
Rocker Steven Tyler has given his new country music career a boost after landing a role in hit TV drama “Nashville”.

A rep for Tyler confirmed to Us Weekly of the appearance after the rockstar tweeted out a picture of himself hanging out with series regular Hayden Panettiere Tuesday.
Now that Aerosmith’s summer tour has concluded, Tyler will resume work on his first solo album, which still doesn’t have a release date or name. He’s not the first real world music star to pop up on the show: Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley and Kellie Pickler have all made cameos as themselves, while Christina Aguilera and Wyclef Jean portrayed fictional musicians.
The fourth season of Nashville will premiere on September 23.
They join already listed artists that include Willie Nelson, Wilco, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses and more.

“Nashville is a musical mecca and there is no way I would’ve missed performing at the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival”, explained Steven Tyler in a press release. Two-day passes are $172 for general admission, $499 for VIP.
