Stevie Wonder serenades James Corden’s wife

STEVIE WONDER’S Definitive Collection is now the No.1 album on the United Kingdom iTunes chart following the viral success of his “carpool karaoke” appearance on comedian James Corden’s Late Late Show.

‘All English guys look alike, ‘ was Wonder’s highlight line from the segment. Wonder then told a relieved Corden that he didn’t in fact have his licence with him, before accusing the host of stealing it (in a British accent of course).

The duo sang along to Stevie’s hits including Superstition, Sir Duke and Isn’t She Lovely.

The singer also changed it up to say “I Just Called to Say James Loves You”, melting the heart of the host.

Singing I Just Called To Say I Love You, Wonder makes Corden visibly tear up with emotion as he sees his wife being serenaded – and whether the stunt was pre-planned or not, it still made us a bit weepy.

But the sweetest moment of all came when Wonder called up Corden’s wife Julia, who didn’t believe that her husband was actually sharing a auto with the legend. Corden suggested that they will create a futuristic vibe for the group and even offered to dance on top of the piano clad in neon outfit.

Stevie Wonder is set to embark on his 20-city Songs In The Key Of Life tour across North America later this month.
