State police say they received calls Tuesday morning reporting a man walking on the Massachusetts Turnpike westbound in Newton who was ripping pages from a Bible and throwing them into traffic.
A man suspected to have stolen a State Police cruiser Monday morning was found acting erratically on the side of the Mass. Pike, according to multiple reports. State and Newton police located him on Craft Street in Newton. The man’s name was not released because of his condition, State Police said.
It is unclear whether he will face charges.
The man was taken to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital for a mental health evaluation. “EMS was called to the scene”.
