That didn’t stop a New Orleans Saints fan from playfully poking fun at Manning.
After weeks of anticipation, Peyton Manning on Monday announced his retirement from the National Football League after 18 seasons.

Manning, who turns 40 later this month, will be going out on top after helping the Broncos to a Super Bowl upset victory last month over the Carolina Panthers, the media outlets reported, citing sources close to the quarterback.
The relationship between Manning and the Colts has been the subject of some debate since news of his retirement broke on Sunday.

The former UT and Houston Oilers football player has been friends with Archie Manning for years.
“I took it as, ‘Hey, I’m ready to play coach”, Kubiak said.
“First of all, this a joyous day, nothing can overtake this day”, Manning said.
