Ice Cube has shrugged off news that NWA biopic “Straight Outta Compton” hasn’t been nominated for Best Picture at the upcoming Oscars.
One such person was the film’s producer Ice Cube. When host Williams told him she believed the film would receive more recognition, the rapper-turned-actor agreed: “Me too”.
Following the apparent Oscar snub, many people on Twitter have expressed their anger at the movie being “robbed”. “You know, it is what it is”, he says. The people supported the movie. The nominees for this year’s Academy Awards were revealed this morning and as always, several seemingly strong contenders failed to make the cut.
