Strait, who retired in 2012 with the “Cowboy Rides Away” tour, will perform in April at the new Las Vegas Arena now under construction in Paradise, Nevada. The tickets for Strait’s concert will go on sale October 2 and will most likely sell out fast, so have your computers ready.

In addition to revealing his upcoming Vegas concert dates, April 22 – 23 and September 9 – 10, Strait also gave press conference attendees a sneak preview of his newest album, “Cold Beer Conversation“, that will be released to the public this Friday. “When I’m sitting in a rocking chair and can’t hardly move around, years from now, just play me that live record where I can hear that crowd again, because it’s like nothing else”. Strait is the first announced performer for the new venue, scheduled to open in the spring.

“Every time I go in the studio, I want to make the best album that I’ve ever done in my life”, he said.

“I’m very excited to be coming back out and playing for the fans out there”. The album will be available exclusively through WalMart and Apple Music. “I can’t wait”.

Remember in 2014 when Texas country music legend George Strait said he was retiring from touring? It is expected to open in April 2016.

“In 1981, when I signed with MCA Records, it seems like yesterday”, Strait recalls.

Our city’s newest landmark will feature 50 luxury suites, more than two dozen private loge boxes, complete broadcast facilities and other specially designed hospitality offerings and fan amenities.
