Stranger Things creators promise ‘justice for Barb’ in season 2

It’s a valid question. This is definitely going to be my new getting ready track before going out (and if anyone knows where to cop that red sheepskin bomber jacket, let me know). Specifically, they touched on whether or not Barb and Brenner are dead.

You probably thought I was going to go a weekend without talking about Stranger Things, didn’t you? With fans the world over mourning her loss, Matt filled us all in on her fate. While it looked like the monster finished Brenner off, the Duffers hint that he could reappear. It’s been a sore point for fans who felt the stand-out character deserved more screen time or, at least, a legitimate resolution to her story.

But the cast of “Strangers Things” – Netflix’s breakout hit of the summer – is made up of a bunch of fresh-faced actors who’ve helped Ryder dig in to all things social media and pop culture.

The first installment of Netflix’s two-part soundtrack to its gloriously-80s horror drama was almost ideal, but the streaming service doubled down a week later and gave us more. Or at least, it certainly sounds like it.

When asked about the possibility of Barb showing up again, Matt Duffer replied “I can’t see it happening”.

According to Matt and Ross Duffer, it sounds like Barb’s exit is final, but they’ll make sure there’s “some justice” for her. That stuff is all happening.

In particular, we would like to add a sixth moment and dedicate it to just Barb – because Barb is everything. “She died, ‘” he continues.

“Season 1 actually takes place over the course of six or seven days-it’s a really short period of time”, Duffer explained to IGN. “So part of what we want to do with hypothetical Season Two is to explore the repercussions of everything that happened”. However, while the creators of Stranger Things aren’t promising a miraculous resurrection, they are saying Barb will be granted the justice she deserves.
