Following the success of season one, it won’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that Netflix has officially confirmed renewal of Stranger Things.

“If we get a musical episode, maybe”, Dyer said.

The duo have also divulged possible details for the upcoming season, telling EW that most of the cast will return. Although the Duffer brothers thought about doing a time jump, apparently they have made a decision to continue the story in 1984 because they feel that there are still plenty of stories to be told in the 1980s, as there are plenty of unresolved storylines and issues. They revealed a new major influence (James Cameron, ) the number of new characters (four, ) and the new setting (the world beyond Hawkins). “We leave that up in the air”.

However, the Duffer Brothers were tight lipped about Eleven-whether she’s even alive, whether she’s coming back to go to the dance with Mike. What did you think and what would you like to see in the second season? “There’s a lot we don’t know about the Upside Down at the end of season one”.

Here’s what we know so far, Matt and Ross Duffer (or simply the Duffer Brothers) will be back as showrunners for season 2 of Stranger Things(wouldn’t want it any other way), only this time they will be making 9 episodes instead of the 8 we got in the first season. “I don’t think you’ll see it in Season 2”.
