Stranger Things Season 2 is Officially Happening Next Year

Netflix is renewing its hit summer series “Stranger Things”. Season 2 of Stranger Things will take place a year after the events of season 1 and you’ll be able to see it sometime in 2017 on Netflix. So happy for my fellow cast!

Stranger Things season 2 is set for release in 2017.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly on what season 2 has in store, the show’s creators Ross and Matt Duffer brothers say that areas outside of Hawkins, Indiana, will be explored, as well as the introduction of 4 new characters.

In addition to the “Stranger Things” cast members, Wednesday’s “Tonight Show” features an interview with David Spade and a performance by Tove Lo. We could explore it if Netflix wanted to continue. We really don’t go in there much until they go in to find Will at the end.

The Season 1 of Stranger Things has a 95% Rotten Tomatoes critic rating, a 96% audience rating and it is one of the most talked-about shows since it was released in mid-July.

“If we get a musical episode, maybe”, Dyer said.

“I don’t know if it would fit in with the whole show”, he admitted.

One of the biggest questions at the end of Season 1 was: what happened to Eleven after she obliterated the Demogorgon? “I think we talked like a larger time jump where the kids are older now and it’s a different decade”.

His mother (Winona Ryder) takes investigations into her own hands with a member of the local authorities, leading her to a world of supernatural forces, top-secret government experiments and a unusual young girl named Eleven. They also gave hints on what to expect this season. One more episode will also be added, making this season with a total of nine episodes instead of eight.
