Now that season two of Stranger Things is a go, the news is flying around like a bad guy who tried to attack Eleven.

Combining familiar tropes from E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, Lost, and Twin Peaks, showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have made certain that Stranger Things also cuts its own unique path through the dark and stormy night of the mind, revealing and concealing things alternately to delight, confuse, and scare the crap out of the viewer.

However, the thing that fans would be more interested in is whether the second season would explore the “upside” to a higher degree in the new season and the Duffer Brothers said that they would. But Season 2 is sure to be premiered in 2017. It will still follow the same characters while adding more mysteries.

When Levy was asked about the decision to announce the renewal that way, he gave credit to the Duffer brothers, the two men behind the show’s success.

Next is Max’s brother, Billy, a “very muscular and hyper-confident” boy who drives a Camaro.

The 12-episode show will air next year on CBBC and ZDF before heading to Netflix. Roman is ultimately an outsider who doesn’t understand how to connect with people.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Duffer brothers explained that they were debating on starting the “Stranger Things” Season 2 on different time frame, when the boys have already grown up, but decided on a continuation of the earlier season. At the finale of Season 1, she sacrificed herself to kill the Demogorgon monster and save her friends. Or maybe they were also taken by a monster from the Upside Down, although there is no evidence that a portal to that dimension had opened up before the events we saw in the first season. Since they confirmed that there are returning characters on Season 2, is there a chance that El is alive?

Haven’t seen the Season 1 yet? And that’s why we’re so hopeful we get another few seasons to live with these people a little longer.

Rumors around the internet claim the Stranger Things heroine “will be return in some form”, which could mean a plethora of things.
