Strategy Analytics: Apple Watch Captures 74 Percent Global Smartwatch
According to Cowen and Company analyst Timothy Arcuri, the Apple Watch 2 will resolve all the issues faced by users of the original Apple Watch and will be launched in mid-to-late-2016. Apple Watch’s retail presence is expanding fast and the device is now available in over 30 countries worldwide, including the United States, South Korea and China.

If Apple wants to make the Apple Watch 2 a game changer, they better do it quick as Huawei and Samsung pose a very serious threat with their own line of smartwatches. All we ask is that you register your Huawei Watch after purchase so we can verify purchase date and provide the best customer experience possible. However, 2016 is shaping up to look like a new and different year for smartwatches, thanks once again to the consumer-friendly Apple Watch and a few other fashion-forward options, such as the new Huawei Watch. Here are four things the Huawei Watch does that the Apple Watch can’t.
The Apple Watch is the hottest smartwatch on the market, but Huawei hopes to turn the tables with its high-powered Android timepiece. It does give us plenty of time to wonder how the original Watch could be improved though, and that’s what concept designer Eric Huismann has considered with his Apple Watch 2 design for Handy Abovergleich.
The renders show a slimmer design with smaller display bezels, and as well as the 38mm and 42mm sizes of the original Apple Watch, this Apple Watch 2 also gets a 45mm model. “Samsung remains a distant second to Apple, but its new range of Gear S2 models is being promoted heavily and this will enable Samsung to bounce back with stronger marketshare during the upcoming Q4 2015 holiday season”. Another leak indicated that the Apple Watch 2 will still flaunt the similar screen size, shape and resolution as the first Apple Watch.
