Streep finds her inner rocker in ‘Ricki and the Flash’
Streep has certainly made some chic outfit choices in the past (ahem, Oscars blazer), but this outfit is a far cry from her typically conservative look.

Celebs and their look-alike kids! The actress joined real life daughter and co-star, Mamie Gummer, on the red carpet in New York to celebrate the film’s world premiere on Monday (August 3). While Streep donned a long-sleeved black dress with white pleats by Valentino, plus two-toned L.K. Bennett pumps, her oldest daughter modeled a sleeveless top with a black and blush color-blocked A-line skirt and ebony sandals.
Streep learned how to play guitar for the film, in which she performs alongside singer and actor Rick Springfield.

Hair. “I met [Meryl] at her apartment, and she came out and gave me these braids that she had in a box”, says her hairstylist Alan D’Angerio. I’m not objective! Don’t ask me this! But she commits utterly to Ricki, an aging free spirit attempting to reconnect with her three adult children years after leaving them behind to pursue rock stardom. “But I think other people have corroborated that [she’s] talented, so it’s [been] really fun”. “It’s not just her. I’ve got some stars at home too!”
