According to Rosas, the first “Street Fighter V” beta will last for five days.

In addition, Capcom will be performing the largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history on both platforms.
Sources have confirmed to Siliconera that Alex and Urien from Street Fighter III will be playable characters in Street Fighter V as well. This means that all the characters that were demonstrated at the Electronic Entertainment Expo build can be tried out, including Ryu, Nash, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Birdie, and Cammy. Birdie and Cammy will not be available immediately, but will instead be playable from 25 July. The delayed release for these two characters are due to net code testing, as well as giving their new content delivery system a try. While the players wait for their match they will train in the Grid.
The beta will have three stages, and matches will occur randomly in Bustling Side Street (China), Terminal Station (London), and in the new Forgotten Waterfall stage.
When players start the game and go past the start screen, they’ll choose a character and be put into training mode until an opponent can be found online. It is completely up to the player to properly utilize the benefits received from the V-Trigger to change the course of the match. Sadly, Capcom noted that they will not add a local versus mode yet in the beta.
Each of the stages has been inspired by various locales throughout the world with the Forgotten Waterfall’s inspiration being directly pulled from New Zealand.
ComboFiend revealed some important details about Street Fighter V’s beta on Capcom’s official website.
Cinemablend also reported that Kitase showcased a new game arena for “Street Fighter 5” taking place in Brazil.
Lastly, gamers in Asia can also join the beta test by downloading the “Street Fighter 5” Closed Beta Test Ticket in the PlayStation Plus within July 9-14, and a notification will be sent to them on July 21.
In the U.S. and Canada, you can receive access to the beta by pre-ordering the game at GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, or through the PlayStation Store. Users who are selected to participate in the Beta will receive an email on 7/24 with instructions on how to access their Beta redemption key.
