Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli FALLS off his chair following Jay

The offer to do Strictly actually came halfway through and he wasn’t going to do it, but then Majella convinced him to do it because she’s a big fan of the show.

Daniel and his Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Kristina Rihanoff waltzed last night to When Irish Eyes Are Smiling sung by the late Belfast star Ruby Murray. Not bad for his first time at the rodeo! “That’s good because Jay has been doing lots of shaking with nerves”.

“Don’t go anywhere, you are “Wanted”.

Kirsty and Brendan went for a romantic, atmospheric number. Luckily, she’s all clear now but obviously that worry is always there. There’s always tomorrow’.

However, fellow panellists Len and Darcey tried to encourage her: “It was like a summer day”.

Acid-tongued Craig slammed the dance saying: ‘That would qualify for the worlds dad dancing competition… He might be the bookies’ favourite for the first elimination, but he didn’t seem bothered.

The often hard to please Craig Revel Horwood said the dance was “absolutely marvellous” filled with “strong intent and goal”.

However Darcy was a fan, saying: “It was strangely fabulous…”

The pair were given a score of five by Craig, eight by Darcey and seven each by Len and Bruno. The audience were appalled, clearly of the opinion that his bottom wiggles deserved more respect.

I’d love to hear your comments and any questions you may have!

Even the normally curmudgeonly Craig had to admit he was surprised.

The couple will be dancing the tango to Voulez Vous by Abba and the performance is going to be set in a Parisian bar.

“That’s the longest I’ve ever seen you not smile!” said the head judge.

Olympic medalist Iwan Thomas danced the Tango with stunner Ola Jordan in a race track themed dance while Spencer Davis Group’s classic Keep On Running.

There were a few jokes from the panel at Anton’s expense because his celebrity partners have tended to be no-hopers in recent years. Strictly is supposed to be about the celebs, but we all know this pairing is about du Beke and his eternal quest for the Glitterball.

Katie’s dance was energetic and fun.

“I’ve never seen anything like that at the Albert Hall”, purred Bruno.

“I couldn’t agree more”, added Craig, as the audience were in shock. Get some fire in the loins.

Bruno: “Your feet were all over the place, I’m sure you can do better”.

Bruno Tonioli added: “Oh, Jay”.

Jamelia was on next with a super sparkly and graceful Waltz. “I can’t believe this is week one and we’re seeing this standard”, he exclaimed as she topped the leaderboard with 29 points.

But of course, Strictly saved the best performance till last! He actually took a year off to be with his wife Majella.
