Strictly Come Dancing kicks off new season with over 10 million viewers
Strictly Come Dancing bosses have hit back at fix claims following this weekend’s launch show.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this month for the first live show.

The musician revealed that surviving cancer propelled her to do the show.
“I’m not sure whether I was more traumatised by my dad moves, which looked rather more dad-like than I had expected, or the pictures of me with all of these sparkling celebrities looking like I’m about to serve them the drinks in this bow tie”, he said.
Lesley Joseph, who played Dorien Green in the sitcom Birds of Feather, said that she had entered the show seeking a positive experience after “a tough year”.
