Strictly judge Len Goodman hits back at Jamelia’s “fix” claims
Back in August we were saddened when it was announced that Dancing With The Stars judge Len Goodman would be taking a break from the show to focus on Strictly Come Dancing – the British version of the show that he is also on.

At around the same time, eliminated star Jamelia also reckoned that the judges were keeping bookies’ favourite Peter Andre in the show after she lost the dance-off against the former pop star in week nine of the show this weekend.
Well on last night’s EPIC season finale filled with everything from an Elle King performance to Kim Zolciak-Biermann returning, Len made a special announcement that he was coming back!
Viewers had commented that judges had favoured to save Peter when Jamelia had danced better and actually scored higher than him on the leader board. They vote on what they see.
Addressing Jamelia’s claims, he added: “When it comes to the dance off, you just mark on what you see with this dance”. It’s nothing to do with expectations of what’s going to happen or how they’ve been in the past. It was just a pity his partner lifted the choreography from her stint on “So You Think You Can Dance?'”
“To say was clear cut, it wasn’t”.
“I thought Peter in the dance-off did dance a little bit better”. One thing’s for sure, when I was 12 I didn’t go to Flamingo’s nightclub, the scene of the aftershow party.
Jamelia shocked dance fans when she claimed that the standing ovation Peter received at the end of his dance last weekend was not the audience’s actual reaction but a re-record, used by BBC bosses to make Pete appear more popular.
“They never interfere with our integrity or tell us what to say”.
“I totally understand, I know sometimes I’ll give someone a seven and millions of people won’t agree with me, but it’s all about taste”.
Don’t get us wrong, this season has been great!
The damning accusation was enough to warrant a response from head judge Len Goodman on live telly last night as he spoke to Zoe Ball on Strictly: It Takes Two.
He said: “Being married is fantastic but I feel bad because we haven’t had time to enjoy it properly yet because of work”.

“I don’t know, who knows”, said Derek, when asked if he will be returning for the upcoming season.
