Student accused in face-biting slayings claimed superpowers
Martin County Sheriff William Snyder says that Harrouff randomly attacked the couple unprovoked. West Palm Beach television station WPTV reported Wednesday that Harrouff was sedated and on a ventilator with guards stationed nearby. “I don’t need drugs”, Harrouff says in a video on bodybuilding on the channel, which features music videos under the name AustiFrosti.

The condition can cause paranoia and hallucinations that can make the user violent and raise a person’s body temperature to unsafe levels.
Earlier in the evening, the college student had been at Duffy’s restaurant, a local sports bar, when he reportedly became agitated with the service and left.
Following the grisly murder of a Jupiter couple inside their garage, police have released an audio recording of the 911 call the accused killer’s mother made to police prior to the attack.
About 45 minutes later, he apparently targeted the couple at random, the sheriff said.
Sheriff Snyder said of the Martin County case: “It will be some time before we get any kind of toxicology report, but I would not be surprised, though, if we end up finding out that is the case”. “I would not be surprised though if we end up finding that is the case”. “I know that they can change me, but the thing is, that is not being healthy”, he states in one video.
On Tuesday, Snyder told reporters that Harrouff’s condition was “life-threatening”.
While blood tests are still underway and have not yet been conclusive, some have speculated Harrouff was under the influence of a substance called Flakka, a stimulant that has effects similar to PCP and angel dust.
“The coaches would always try to get him mad and play angry, and he never had it in him”.
Snyder said the first deputy who arrived tried to stop Harrouff with a Taser gun, but that didn’t stop him. Stevens appears to have tried to fight back. Snyder said they didn’t shoot, fearing their bullets would strike the victim.
Harrouff was shirtless and was “making animal-like sounds” when he arrived at the hospital.
While drugs tests so far indicate 19-year-old Florida State University student Austin Kelly Harrouff was not on cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana and opiates, authorities will now test him for flakka and bath salts, the Daily Mail reports. John Joseph Stevens III, 59, was pronounced dead in the driveway. The attacker was shot dead by police and the victim survived but suffered serious facial injuries. Harrouff’s parents are divorced, and neighbors of the home where Harrouff was living with his father, dentist Wade Harrouff, this summer, say he seemed aggressive and rowdy.
