Sturridge set for scan on foot injury
Liverpool’s next European task will be to keep hold of top spot in their group when they travel to second-placed FC Sion on December 10.

Liverpool probable starting line-up: Mignolet; Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno; Milner, Lucas, Allen; Lallana, Benteke, Ibe.
Liverpool have been dealt a blow with the news that Daniel Sturridge has suffered yet another injury concern after being ruled out of the Bordeaux clash with a foot problem, according to the BBC.
“We trained this morning, we went to the hotel, he was with us and then he had to leave to have a scan”.
“Without a scan I can’t say more”.
Sturridge has played just three games this season, scoring twice, after missing large chunks of last term due to injury.
“After the half-time score, Bordeaux had to go with a little bit more risk and it was more hard for us because we lost a little bit of the control in the game”.
Jurgen Klopp has injected energy into Liverpool since taking over, according to Kevin Keegan.
“If you want to compete for trophies, a Champions League place, or maybe even for a league title, you’ve got to sometimes win these games away to Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City”.
The French side took the lead in the 33rd minute when Henri Saivet curled in a close-range free-kick after Simon Mignolet had been penalised for holding on to the ball for too long.
Klopp was pleased with his team’s endeavours, saying on BT Sport Europe: “There is no bad news tonight”.
“The team is very happy to be qualified, the club is very happy to be qualified so you can be happy we are qualified!”
Liverpool had barely created a chance up to then but by half time they were 2-1 up thanks to some brilliance from Benteke.
However, he did succeed in mastering the term “boss”, meaning good, and told his nine-year-old teacher that he would shoehorn the term into his post-match interview if Liverpool beat Man City last weekend.
