Suarez and Messi lead Barca past Leicester
Luis Enrique’s charges eventually sealed the win in the 84th minute, as Rafael Mujica latched onto a loose ball before firing into the top corner, 4-2.

Barcelona are expecting to win the second of their three International Champions Cup games when they take on Premier League champions Leicester City in Sweden.
Leicester struggled five minutes later when Suarez took down Messi’s lofted ball and eased his way into a shooting position; putting the ball through Robert Huth’s legs and brushing aside youngster Ben Chilwell before flicking it past Zieler.
What’s encouraging is how the plucky Foxes responded.
Barcelona fielded a strong side with Messi as skipper, while Denis Suarez was included in the starting XI after returning to the Camp Nou after a successful stint at Villarreal.
The truth is the pair weren’t at their best, but Barcelona deserve some credit for that.
Claudio Ranieri’s men found Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in fine form in the first half, teeing up a brace for Munir either side of the former Liverpool forward’s fine individual effort. And just before the break Munir grabbed his second, again thanks to irresistible play from Messi and Suarez.
The £16m signing from CSKA Moscow had compared himself to Jamie Vardy earlier this summer and he looks well suited to Ranieri’s counter-attack focused tactics. It was a much needed strike given he looked goal shy in the 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
The industrious Nigerian was not finished there either, pressuring the Barca back-line into an error, then collecting Jeffrey Schlupp’s centre to unleash an unstoppable blast.
“What he showed today, he showed pace, quality, scoring goals”.
