Subway pitchman’s victims to share $1 million
Jared Fogle has paid $1 million in restitution to his victims, Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven DeBrota in Indianapolis said Thursday.

And it’s being reported that the victims who received the checks so far have had to sign acknowledgement forms.
Fogel agreed to plead guilty to child pornography and sex-crime charges.
As part of a plea deal, prosecutors have agreed to ask for a prison term of no more than 12.5 years, but a judge will ultimately decide his sentence at the November hearing.
Fogle started working as a spokesman for Subway in 2000, and continued to work for the sandwich chain until July of this year.
The document outlines a multi-year pattern of child-sex crimes that Fogle committed, involving 14 named victims and many more whose identities are unknown. While Fogle had not viewed content featuring all of Taylor’s victims, prosecutors argued that Fogle failed to protect all of them by not alerting authorities. Fogle still has to pay out a total of $400,000 to his remaining four victims.
The victims are allowed to use the funds without any restrictions.

Fogle’s attorney, Jeremy Margolis, gave a statement last month acknowledging that “Jared fully recognizes that such monetary contribution will not undo the harm he has caused”.
