Suge Knight jokes about Eazy-E’s death in old Jimmy Kimmel interview

You don’t want to go to jail forever … They have a new thing out. They have this stuff they called…they get blood from somebody with AIDS and they shoot you with it. That’s [a] slow death. To get Dre out of his contract, Knight and his crew physically assault Eazy-E (Jason Mitchell), N.W.A’s leader. When rumors later spread by Knight about Eazy kidnapping Heller didn’t catch fire, Knight allegedly took things up a notch with threats to the Ruthless Records founder’s family. The two men became enemies after N.W.A decided to part ways due to intense financial disputes.

Knight and Dr Dre have been enemies ever since the rapper quit Suge’s Death Row Records – something that is covered at the end of Straight Outta Compton, which shot to the top of the US box office on Sunday, scoring the highest-grossing opening weekend for a biopic in history. He is now awaiting trial on a murder charge stemming from accusations of a fatal hit-and-run that killed his friend and actor Terry Carter in January of this year.

Eazy-E was known for his unapologetically dirty and shocking lyrics, a trait which helped launch fellow NWA members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre into their own solo careers.

In January, rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight used his pickup truck and ran over one of the film’s technical advisors Cle “Bone” Sloan and Compton businessman Terry Carter. “I have no concerns about the movie at all and I believe very strongly that Suge Knight will be acquitted”. Usually he was with The D.O.C., who I feel was probably the greatest, pure rapper. But [Suge Knight] was a bad guy. It was there that Sloan re-appeared to continue his verbal altercation with Knight, who slammed down on his gas pedal with the alleged intent of running over Sloan. “Actually, it turned out that he was right and I was wrong”. But in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, unearthed from 2003, Knight fuels another conspiracy – that he might be behind the death of one of the most notorious rappers, Eazy-E.
