Granted, the song-and-dance offerings of “Sultan” are tepid compared to the average Bollywood spectacle of choreography, but Ali Abbas Zafar’s direction, during those rare musical numbers, feels organic, with the camera joining the action a la Alfonso Cuaron rather than observing from some remove. It has collected in excess of Rs 91 crore (gross overseas figures), which is higher than Airlift’s collection of Rs 47.60 crore (gross overseas figures).

The Khan triumvirate dominates the top five, with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan having one film each in the list.
