Sundar Pichai to Launch Android One version 2 in India
While the agenda of Pichai’s visit has not been made public, the invites sent by the company hint at launch of the next version of Google’s affordable Android One smartphones.

The Chief Executive of the Search engine giant Google, Sundar Pichai is expected to visit India later this month which will be his first overseas trip after taking over as the CEO of one of the world’s largest technology companies. This news about the visit of Indian-born CEO to India is according to some sources.
Earlier Google had teamed up with three Indian players like – Karbonn, Micromax and Spice but the Android One failed to impress the mass audience in India.
Google has not yet revealed what he plans to discuss with the country heads.
The sources also claimed that Pichai will also host an open event with the students from different parts of India at the University of Delhi.
The required invitations have been mailed to all media representatives and tech bloggers for the grand Google India event to be held on December 16. In the two days that he would be here, he would be outlining his Indian vision for the coming years. Pichai had also announced that Google will enable users to type in 11 Indian languages, including Modi’s mother tongue Gujarati on the Android platform. These new users have a completely fresh view on what the Internet has to offer.
Sundar Pichai, who is an alumnus from IIT Kharagpur had a meeting with Modi at Google HQ back in September when he was on a tour to Silicon Valley.

It is noteworthy that Pichai had unveiled the very first Android smartphones in India. He’s also expected to share the plans that Google has for India, which happens to be one of its largest growth markets.
