Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford can become a ‘first-class keeper’, says David Moyes
If they do, that will give us enormous hope going forward that we have the players capable of getting us out of this mess, particularly with two very decent-looking home games coming up. We have a great chance to prove ourselves and show what we can do. When I wanted to come back in, I wanted somewhere that excited me.

The Argentinian criticised his players’ attitude during their Champions League defeat to Monaco on Wednesday and even said he was unhappy with the 4-0 win at Stoke last weekend.
“Maybe it is because the pre-season was hard and all that happened in the summer, maybe now we are in a process to settle all the pieces”.
Lee Cattermole and Steven Pienaar are close to returns for Sunderland but Sunday’s game at Tottenham could come too soon.
Beyonce Knowles, American pop singer, is partially responsible for Sunderland football club’s slow start to the premier league season, David Moyes, club coach, has said.
“All season it’s hard to play and when you play in the Champions League you expend a lot of energy, ” Pochettino said.

He handled well and he did his bit.
We’ve all been impressed by Tottenham and I think they’ve become a club that people want to watch, particularly because of the England situation – they have two of three good English players – and I think the media in this country want England to do well and have good players. I can’t prove that, but that’s my thought. But he’s now gone to a level where he has to become a leader, he has to become a top player.

Midfielder Cattermole has not played this season after undergoing hernia surgery, while Pienaar has been nursing a hamstring strain, but both are back in training.
