Sunderland would just love to get rid of me – Lens
Sunderland winger Jeremain Lens has joined Turkish side Fenerbahce on a season-long loan deal.

Lens joined the north-east club past year from Dynamo Kiev but struggled to hold down a place in the starting XI, making just 20 Premier League appearances.
Lens scored three league goals for the Black Cats.
Lens found himself marginalised under Sam Allardyce following Advocaat’s departure and he has an opportunity to get his career back on track.
Jeremain Lens appears to be heading to Fenerbahce on loan, but has lashed out at his parent club in the process.
Sunderland are understood to have offered around £40,000-a-week, but Mason is expected to travel to Humberside to undergo a medical, with Hull confident of completing his capture ahead of tomorrow night’s transfer deadline.
“I do not expect any problems”.
“It’s a nice transfer”. Fenerbahce is a great club and a great challenge. “It is not that he is doing me a favour”, added Lens. This is perhaps for the objective of [playing for] Holland also again.
“I go to Fenerbahce if the chance is to get more playing time. It was understandable because I was not playing”.

Lens hit out at Sunderland earlier in the week in an interview with Fox Sports.
