Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies become mostly cloudy in the evening. It’s going to be a cooler day with strong northwest winds of 10-20 miles per hour.

Overcast skies overnight began to clear early this morning. Other than a light afternoon breeze, winds will be calm. Expect temperatures to drop rapidly tonight after sunset.
Cooler air will arrive for the weekend.
Much of the eastern seaboard is under the influence of a upper trough, which is helping to keep the temps low across the region. Saturday morning could be a bit chilly with lows near 50 and highs Saturday afternoon pushing back into the mid 70s.
Wednesday we will start to see cloud cover move out and mostly sunny conditions return. There is a marginal risk for severe storms over South Mississippi. On average, temperatures during the first part of April should be in the 50s. Highs over the weekend will should hit the mid to upper 70s on Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny skies.

Another weather system will move in during Tuesday bringing us a chance of rain with highs in the middle 60s.
