Sunny, pleasant weather on tap for Father’s Day weekend
We’re clearly in the midst of some nice weather and that will extend through this weekend for all of CT.

Humidity builds through the weekend, so is will be muggy Sunday – Father’s Day – and Monday – the first day of summer. Still, it won’t rain everywhere, but most communities stand a good chance of getting some rain at times.
Saturday will probably be the more enjoyable day for some people, as temperatures will be right in the flawless not-too-hot, not-too-cool range. Monday will be a humid day with highs in the mid 80s. Highs on Monday will once again be up well into the 80s to perhaps near 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies. High: Mid-upper 80s.
Father’s Day will be warm and sunny. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. There will be plenty of sun on both days, with low humidity and no precipitation.
On Tuesday, the chance of thunderstorms will return, as a system developing over Canada and the Great Lakes moves into the area. Highs got back into the 70s & 80s under plentiful sunshine.

“We won’t see any meaningful rain until Tuesday when a cold front brings a few showers and storms”, Maher said. Lows will drop to around 60 degrees.
